Biography

Robin grew up quite a ways outside of Tucson, Arizona in the wild foothills of the Catalina mountains. She spent a lot of time exploring on horseback, mountain biking and reading on the roof.

The daughter of anthropologists, Robin was exposed to many types of thought and ways of life from an early age. She traveled across one ocean or another around half a dozen times before the age of twelve.

After high school she moved to Northern Arizona to earn a BA in English and BFA in Printmaking.

Currently, (and after a lot more traveling) she does not live significantly differently than she did as a child. She recently married and lives in Iowa City, where she works in an art gallery, runs a freelance website design business and spends a lot of time with her husband and her horse.

Robin has published a couple of short stories in various literary magazines and shown her art in several galleries.
